Ride to Work / Flex Rider Program Rules

  • Rules and Policies

    Rides must be e-mailed or reserved online at minimum 4 days in advance. Reservations made by phone will incur a $1 per trip dispatching fee that will automatically be deducted from your account. Reservations can not be made during blackout periods listed on the website (LINK).

    Pickup and Drop off times
    Pickup and drop off times may be adjusted by the driver picking you up on the day of pickup. The driver may adjust the pickup and drop off times by up to 30 minutes in either direction, if you can not meet these adjusted times you will be charged the full price of the ride in the event we are unable to pick you up, or charged waiting time from the time of our arrival in the event that we do pick you up but must wait for you.

    Waiting time
    Five minutes of wait time is included for free for all Ride to Work passengers. After the initial five minutes your account will be charged the current waiting time fee(s) (LINK). Unless otherwise requested at least 24 hours in advance of pickup, we will wait no more than 15 minutes after your scheduled pickup time before we consider you a "no-show." All "no-show" riders will have that day's ride cancelled and you will be charged the full price of the ride. Please be aware that we reserve the right to cancel accounts with an excessive number of "no-shows" after a warning has been given. Riders will not be entitled to a refund of any remaining amount if cancelled for this reason.

    Rider Cancellations
    Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance in order to receive a full credit to your account. Cancellations not made 24 hours in advance may be eligible for a partial credit of up to 50% at our sole discretion. If you feel that certain circumstances warrant a review of any such cancellation, our management will be happy to review your account.

    A 20% gratuity will be added to your ride automatically unless you specify that you would prefer to handle gratuity yourself. If you would prefer not to leave any gratuity or would prefer to handle gratuity matters yourself, please contact us and we will notate your account accordingly.

    Payments must be made in advance via the website, cash, or by check. Any unused prepayment will be refunded after 60 days via check and mailed to your last known address. Any checks not cashed within 180 days will be cancelled.

    When mailing payments, please be sure to write your name and the phone number associated with your account on the check in order to ensure proper and timely credit to your account. Delays resulting from incorrectly labeled checks may cause riders to incur late fees. All checks must have the check signers drivers licence number written across the top. We will not be able to accept any payment that does not include this information. We do not accept cash via postal mail.

    When requesting a refund of any prepaid balance, riders must send a letter requesting said refund that includes the name and phone number associated with their account. Please allow up to two weeks for processing.
